How do i use the site?
Using fundsville.com to recover funds has been simplified. If you received a letter from us, It contains a unique ID you will use in the Refund ID field. This ID is unique and directly tied to the record that have been verified. If you have not received a letter from us but curious to see if you have funds available, You can perform a quick search by last name (required) and first name (optional). The site will walk you through a step by step process to narrow your site based on criteria that are specific to you. If there is a match, you will need to verify and/or update your information to receive an automatic email containing your Refund ID to file a claim.
I received a letter, now what?
If you received a letter from us, we have already located an asset for you. All you need to do now is claim your asset and get a refund. Just enter the RefundID and Last name that was stated in the letter you received to process your refund.
How long does it take to get a refund?
It takes between 30 to 90 days to have your funds processed and received. All information will be validated to process your refund.
Does it cost anything?
We DO NOT charge any upfront cost, so; using our system to check if you have pending asset to be reclaimed is free. However, once we have located an asset for you and you are ready to claim it, you will initiate the refund process on our system. Once you received your asset, a service fee of 10% of the asset value will apply. If for any reason, you did not reclaim yor asset, then the service fee will not apply. You will be able to review the asset, amount and other pertinent information relating to the asset and initiate the refund online.
How do you know if and when i receive a refund?
We work with third party holding companies in getting your refund back to you. We get updates directly from the holding agencies on the status of your claim. So the records are updated when a claim is complete and refunded.
What type of assets do you work on?
We look into every asset and properties that might belong to you especially those you migh not remember you own. Since the assets somethings are sold and converted to cash held in a trust fund, a high percentage of the properties we process is cash (about 90%) which includes: Utility Deposits, funds abandoned in checking, savings and other accounts. Other assets that we recover includes but not limited to:
Unclaimed Inheritances, Social Security Benefits, Security Deposits, Bonds, Stocks etc .
